What's included in the subscription
1. Reserve your Number
Reserve your TextFree number without the worry of losing your number due to inactivity with a TextFree Plus subscription.
2. No Ads
Your TextFree app will be free of ads with a TextFree Plus subscription.
3. Change your TextFree number
With a TextFree Plus subscription, you have the ability to change your number. For steps on how to change your number, click HERE.
Please note: Number changes are limited and depend on your subscription status, recent activity, and account history.
4. Shortcode/verification code support
With a TextFree Plus subscription, you can use your TextFree number as a way to validate registrations with various entities (where this option is unavailable with a TextFree "free" account).
Important info about validation texts and calls:

TextFree doesn’t limit the types of phone calls you can receive. However, certain companies may not allow you to use your TextFree number for verification, thus you may not receive the code.
- Telegram shortcodes are NOT supported with a TextFree Plus subscription.
- This is not something that is imposed from our end, so we recommend contacting the service provider who is sending the verification texts to see if they support TextFree phone numbers.
5. Spam Filtering (iOS only)
TextFree Plus subscribers also gain access to spam recognition and filtering, helping you to easily identify and avoid calls that may be spam. For more information on the spam filtering feature, click here.
Pricing
All purchases of TextFree Plus are managed by the Apple App Store (iOS users) or the Google Play Store (Android users).
New customers: When you register for a TextFree account and subscribe to TextFree Plus, you will default to the monthly subscription.

Note: If you are switching to a yearly subscription (from a 1-month or 6-month subscription) you will be charged by your app store immediately. This change will be reflected in your app store account and in Settings (under subscription).
How to subscribe
To subscribe to TextFree Plus, follow these steps:
- Access TextFree app Settings.
- Under Subscription, tap UPGRADE (next to TextFree Plus).
- Tap Subscribe to sign-up for TextFree Plus.
- iOS users can subscribe to the default monthly plan
- Android users can choose between the weekly and monthly plan options
- You will see 'Thanks for subscribing' which indicates you have successfully subscribed to TextFree Plus.
6-month or 12-month subscription:
iOS customers:
How to upgrade your subscription length via Apple:
- iOS Settings.
- View your Apple ID.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- From there, you can switch to the 6 or 12-month subscription.
Important about subscriptions:
- The weekly subscription is not available for iOS customers at this time.
- If you change your subscription length (e.g., move to a 6-month or yearly subscription from monthly), you will be charged for the NEW subscription price IMMEDIATELY. Because of this, we recommend not making the switch until your renewal date (to avoid being charged for the new subscription pricing until you are ready)
Android customers:
6 and 12-month options are NOT available for Android at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Note: You can check your TextFree Plus subscription renewal date at any point by following the steps above.
