Does TextFree offer dark mode?

To enable Dark Mode on TextFree, enable the setting in your device settings. Once you do that, TextFree will include Dark Mode anytime you have that setting enabled on your device.

If you need help on how to enable Dark Mode on your phone, view the device-specific steps below.

iPhone

1. Phone Settings. 
2. Display & Brightness. 
3. Select "Dark" to enable Dark Mode on your device. 

Android

1. On your phone, open the Settings app.
2. Tap Display.
3. Turn Dark theme on or off (this may also be called Night Mode on your device).

Note: If your mobile device does not have dark mode enabled but has battery saver enabled, TextFree will automatically display in Dark Mode to preserve your phone's battery life. 

TextFree Web

To use TextFree Web in Dark Mode, you'll first need to enable it on your computer (if it is not currently enabled). 

1. Steps for Mac & Windows Operating Systems. 
2. Once you've enabled Dark Mode for your computer, log into TextFree Web and you'll see it enabled.

Not seeing Dark Mode within TextFree? 

If you have followed the steps above to enable dark mode on your device and still don't see it in TextFree, we recommend you delete & reinstall TextFree now (please note the reinstall details below before performing a reinstall).
