Can I use a VPN with TextFree?

We do support the use of a VPN (Virtual Private Network) with TextFree as we understand and respect your right to privacy. However, we have seen instances of abuse with VPNs in the past and thus some common IP addresses associated with VPN services have been blocked due to abuse-related situations. 

If your IP address is blocked, you'll be unable to use TextFree and may notice you're unable to send and/or receive text messages or calls. The only way to resume using the app is to disconnect from the VPN. 

Please note that our applications are only intended for the United States and Canadian residents while they reside in the United States and Canada. VPNs should not be used to mask international usage as this contributes to VPN network blocks.
