Issue Symptoms
Receiving either "Request failed with error 5994" or "Request failed with error 5995" error message when attempting to log in or register on the TextFree mobile app, or log in to TextFree Web.
Resolution
Please check the relevant tab below, depending on where you see the error message (Mobile or Web).

Receiving this error code means that your login or registration has been blocked because our system detected that the app was either:
- Not installed from the official Apple Store or Google Play Store
- Installed and running on a modified device (we do not allow TextFree to be used with "unlocked" devices or devices that can be customized)
To log in or complete your registration, please reinstall the app from the official app store on an unmodified device.

You're receiving this error because the IP address you're using to access TextFree Web was temporarily flagged for being associated with an abusive network. It may take up to 24 hours for the temporary flag to be lifted.
If you haven't already, please clear your cache and cookies & fully close the browser. You can find more information on how to clear your cache and cookies here: How to clear cache and cookies
You should be able to log in after those steps. If not, please contact Support for further assistance.
