Did you receive a pop-up message that asks:
"TextFree" would like permission to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. This identifier will be used to deliver personalized ads to you.
If so, please read the information below to understand the reasoning behind the message.
Why do we ask for this?
Apple has extended its permissions to include ad tracking with the iOS 14 update. As a free ad-supported service, TextFree needs to use tracking to show you more personalized ads, hence why we ask for you to choose 'Allow Tracking' when prompted.
What happens if I choose 'Ask App Not to Track?'
We don't require this permission in order to use the app, so choosing 'Ask App Not to Track' will not hinder your ability to use TextFree. However, by allowing tracking, you will help us send you more personalized advertising content & continue to enhance your in-app experience.
Having trouble with enabling tracking?
If you can't find how to enable app tracking for TextFree on your mobile device, you will find these permissions located in your device settings.
Device Settings > Privacy > Tracking > Enable 'allow apps to request for tracking.'
Note: Steps above may vary per device/manufacturer.
If you have further questions or concerns about this permission update, please submit a request.
