Using our services for abusive behavior is explicitly against our terms and conditions. Anyone caught harassing or threatening others will have their account disabled immediately.
What to do if you are being harassed:
- Email abuse@pinger.com and let our support team know about any TextFree users that are abusing our service (please provide their TextFree number as well)
Note:
- We cannot block a specific area code, only specific numbers.
- Tip: Take screenshots of the offending text message(s)/calls BEFORE you block a number/contact. We cannot export or send copies of your message or call history before or after blocking a number so please be sure to save any info for your records.

To block a number from an existing conversation:
- Set the block from your Inbox by swiping left on the conversation
- Tap 'Block'
- Confirm the block by tapping 'block' for a second time
Please Note: Blocking the contact will not remove the conversation from the inbox
To block a number from the address book:
- Tap on 'Address Book'
- Tap on the name/number of the contact you wish to block
- Tap on the three vertical dots on the upper righthand corner
- Tap 'Block'
Items to note:
- Messages sent from a blocked number will appear as though the message is sent, but are undeliverable.
- The caller from the blocked number will hear a continuous ring without going to voicemail.
