Registration Error 6141

Issue Symptoms

• Receiving the error code 6141 during registration.
• Unable to create a TextFree account after selecting "Sign up" and inputting your details.

Cause & Resolution

The reason you are receiving this error is that our company experiences high levels of abuse during the creation of an account. Due to this, we block users from being able to create accounts when their signature matches an abusive profile.

We understand that legitimate users may occasionally get caught up in this block. If you are seeing this error, we recommend trying the following troubleshooting steps:

Step 1: If you have already created an account, log in

To maintain security, users are limited in the number of accounts they can create. If you have already created a TextFree account, you should sign into that account to continue using our service.

Step 2: You must reside in the United States or Canada to use our services

As part of our Terms of Service, our products are intended for use by United States and Canadian residents while they are within the United States and/or Canada.

Step 3: Make sure you are not using a VPN during registration

If you have a VPN (Virtual Private Network) enabled on your device, please switch it off while creating your account.

Step 4: Create your account from a mobile device (i.e. iPhone or Android)

Make sure to download the app from your official app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and create your account from your mobile device.

Step 5: Uninstall and reinstall your application

Step 6: Enable notifications

When prompted, make sure to enable the necessary notifications and permissions for using the app. For information on how to enable notifications, please click here.

Trying the above recommendations help you to successfully create an account. However, if the above steps do not work, unfortunately, you will be unable to create a TextFree account.
