We understand that there may be times when you may need to cancel a paid subscription you have with TextFree. Follow the steps below to learn how to unsubscribe.

To cancel via mobile settings:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store
- Tap Menu
Subscriptions
- Tap the subscription you want to cancel
- Tap Cancel subscription
- Follow the onscreen instructions
To cancel via Web browser:
- Visit the Google Play Store
- Sign in with your ID credentials
- On the left-hand side, click on Subscriptions & Services
- Your active subscriptions will be listed and you can click Manage to cancel
Important: Uninstalling an app will not automatically stop your subscription. You must cancel your subscription to end your subscription. If you uninstall the app without canceling your subscription, you will still be charged. If an app you've purchased a subscription for is removed from Google Play, your future subscription will be automatically canceled but past subscriptions will not be refunded.
To request a refund
- Visiting Google's website and following the instructions on how to request a refund
- You can also request a refund from TextFree by reaching out to our support department and provide the following information:
- Copy of your Google Play receipt that shows your subscription purchase
- Order Number for the purchase
- Order Numbers should be in the format: GPA.1234-5678-9123-45678

To cancel via mobile settings:
- Enter your device Settings and scroll to find iTunes & App Store
- Tap on your Apple ID: name@email.com
- Tap on View Apple ID
- Scroll to find Subscriptions
- Under Active subscriptions, tap on TextFree and Cancel Subscription
- Continue to Step 2 if a refund is requested.
If you are on iOS version 12.1.4 or 12.2 (beta), you can manage your subscription quickly by:
- Opening the App Store
- Tap your profile (you should see your photo at the top right corner)
- Click on Manage Subscriptions
To cancel via Web browser:
- Visit the iTunes store
- Sign in with your ID credentials
- Click View Information
- Click Manage
- Click Edit next to the subscription
- Click Cancel Subscription

To request a refund
Pinger, Inc. does not have the ability to process refunds since all purchases are strictly handled & processed through the iTunes store. To request a refund through Apple, follow the steps below:
- https://reportaproblem.apple.com/
- Log in with your Apple ID
- Find TextFree in your Purchases list
- Click on Report a Problem
- In the Choose Problem dropdown, select "Didn't mean to purchase this item"
Please Note: Apple should process the refund within 48 hours.
