Verification calls and/or texts are supported, but only with a paid subscription to TextFree Plus. Accounts that do not have an active TextFree Plus subscription will be unable to receive verification calls and/or texts.

Important: Some service providers do not support TextFree phone numbers as a Two-Factor Authentication method. Therefore, if you subscribe to TextFree Plus & receive an error or do not receive a code, we recommend checking with the provider to confirm they support TextFree phone numbers.
FYI: Telegram shortcodes are not supported with a TextFree "free" or TextFree Plus subscription.
If you don't have an active TextFree Plus subscription, you can still receive a variety of messages from shortcodes, with the exclusion of security verification/validation messages.
