Why is TextFree Web not working on Google Chrome?

Are you having trouble accessing TextFree Web on Google Chrome? If so, please review the information below in order to troubleshoot the issue. 

Issue symptoms

• Cannot create a new account or log in to your existing account
• Nothing happens when you click a button
• Not receiving messages

Conditions

• Your browser is Chrome
• Your Google Chrome extensions are enabled

Cause and resolution

Unfortunately, TextFree Web can run into some issues with Google Chrome's extensions. 

If you have Google Chrome extensions turned on, and you're experiencing any of the issue symptoms above, most likely one of these extensions may be preventing TextFree Web from working properly. 

In an attempt to fix the issue: 

1. Disable all of your extensions
   1. On your computer, open Chrome
   2. At the top right, select More  > Extensions > Manage extensions.
   3. Click on Turn Off for each extension
2. Try to use TextFree Web again

If your issue has subsided after disabling all extensions, you can reintroduce them one by one until you find out which extension was the problem.
