How do I create or edit my signature?

A signature is a great way to add a personal or professional touch to your text messages. To create, edit, or remove your signature, please follow the steps below. 

To create a signature: 

iOS:

1. TextFree app Settings
2. Under the Texting section, tap Signature 
3. Type in the signature you want to display when you send a message
4. Tap Done on the keyboard to save

Android:

1. TextFree app Settings
2. Under the Texting (SMS) section, tap Signature 
3. Type the signature you want to display when you send a message (above the purple line) 
4. Click out of the Signature field to save 

Items to note: 

• The signature will be displayed under each text message you send.
• You cannot add multiple lines to your signature. (cannot use the 'enter' function)
• Your signature will not be displayed in group messages.

To remove a signature:

Follow the steps above but simply clear out/delete the text to remove the signature.
