How to earn or purchase calling minutes

With TextFree, you have the option to earn free minutes or purchase them. Before you decide which option is best for you, please read the important information below on how minutes work with TetFree.

• Using TextFree to call non-TextFree numbers requires calling minutes. (Current pricing.)
• Using TextFree to call another TextFree/Pinger number is free. 
• Using TextFree to receive calls is free. 

FYI: Your minutes will not be deducted for outgoing calls to toll-free numbers with the following area codes: 800, 855, 866, 877, and 888.  

To Earn Free Minutes:

1. TextFree app Settings.
2. Tap Get Minutes.
3. Under Get Free Minutes, you have the following options to earn minutes:
   • Watch Video
   • Other Offers (on iOS) or Additional Offers (on Android)

Watch Videos

Watching a short promotional video (usually 30 seconds long) will instantly earn you 1 free calling minute.

 

Tip: If you don't see your minute earned, try closing the app, and reopening it. You should also receive a pop-up stating you've earned a minute and/or your new balance. 

Other/Additional Offers

You can also earn free minutes by completing offers from our partner, Tapjoy's offer wall. The number of minutes earned will vary depending on the task.

Important: In order to receive your minutes, you must fully complete the steps included in the offer. If the process is incomplete, you will not receive the minutes advertised on the offer.  

To Purchase Minutes: 

1. TextFree app Settings.
2. Tap Get Minutes.
3. Select the number of minutes you wish to purchase under the Buy Minutes Section.
   • Options: 100, 400 or 1000 minutes. (Pricing)
